What is your returns policy?

In person:

We trust that you will be happy with your Milly Sleeping selection but ask that you keep your receipt and all tags. If you change your mind, credit or exchange may only be offered upon presentation of the receipt and the item – unused and in the condition in which it was sold to you - within 14 days of the date of sale.

In the unlikely event that your item does not meet your expectation, care will be taken to assess the item's quality. A refund may only be offered where the product is agreed to be flawed or below standard, and repair or replacement cannot be arranged.

Please note that we cannot accept the return of sale items for exchange, credit or refund.


Online purchases are checked thoroughly before being carefully packaged for their trip. Upon receipt of your purchase, if the item does not meet your expectation, please contact Milly Sleeping as soon as possible - no later than 10 days from the date of delivery - by email (leah@millysleeping.com) or telephone (+61 3 9347 1333). We will be happy to discuss options with you. If a suitable alternative item can be agreed upon, we will process an exchange. If not, a refund will be offered.

Returning items must be sent within the following 7 days, unused and in original condition, with all tags still attached. Postage for returning items will be paid by the purchaser, unless the item is deemed flawed. In case of exchange, Milly Sleeping will pay postage for one replacement item.

Please note! All items in Milly Sleeping’s online shop are represented as accurately as possible. More information and measurements pertaining to individual items can be provided promptly upon request.

All online sales are, of course, subject to availability. The concurrent display of items, both in the Carlton shop and online, means that overlapping purchases are possible (though not likely). We do our best to adjust our inventory quickly to prevent this misfortune. In the event that we cannot fulfil an order, an immediate refund will be processed for goods paid.

Can I pay with credit card? 

At the Carlton shop, we accept payments via Eftpos, and Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. We can also process credit card payments over the phone or pass on Milly Sleeping's account details for direct credit transactions.

Online shoppers can choose to complete transactions with Paypal, or Visa or Mastercard (or an alternative payment arrangement can be made).

What are your 'shipping' terms? Do you post items interstate/overseas?

Oui. It is, in fact, our pleasure to post packages to diverse and remote destinations.

Within Australia, shipping is currently free for purchases of $50 and above. Orders are sent in Australia Post Express (overnight delivery) envelopes unless otherwise arranged. At the request of the customer, or for purchases over $300, items are sent using Registered Express, and a recipient’s signature is required at the point of delivery.

Items are posted to international customers by registered airmail and incur a non-refundable charge of $10 AUD. Delivery time is approximately 5-10 days, depending on the destination and time of year.

All new orders will be confirmed by email, and processed within two working days. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any absolute guarantees regarding delivery times.

Do I have to set up any accounts to shop with Milly Sleeping online?

No. When moving through the checkout steps, you are welcome to identify simply as a 'guest'. You may like to enter your email address, to receive Milly's quarterly newsletter; if not, this address will only be used to contact you regarding the delivery of your purchase.

If you don't already have a Paypal account, you can set one up to make swift online purchases (in accordance with Paypal's own T & Cs). Alternatively, you can shop with Milly Sleeping using your credit card details.

Do you offer layby?

Yes. To commence a layby, we request a deposit of at least 20% of the total cost (or $30 - whichever is the greater amount). Goods will be held for up to six weeks, with installments to be paid to Milly Sleeping fortnightly (either in person or by phone). Please note that layby items are not eligible for return, and if a layby is cancelled within the six-week period, a cancellation fee equal to the minimum deposit will apply. Any goods held for extended periods at the client’s request may attract an additional fee if cancelled.

Online shoppers are welcome to arrange layby purchases via email.


Will you pass on my details to any third party, or send me inordinate amounts of 'promotional' spam?

No. Any personal information given to Milly Sleeping by our customers, including addresses and credit card details, will remain private. Such information will not be sold, rented or released to any other party without express consent.

Online customers will be required to provide Milly Sleeping with an email address when making a purchase but this should not result in the receipt of unsolicited mail. Shoppers may elect to join Milly Sleeping's database, and can also unsubscribe from the resultant quarterly newsletter service at any time.
